What Are Surplus Funds?
Surplus funds are money that may remain after a property is sold through a
foreclosure of tax sale and the required debts, liens, fees, and sale expenses have
been paid. Depending on the circumstances, the remaining funds may belong to a
former property owner and heir, or another person with a valid claim.
We review available property and claim information, assist with organizing required documents while also assessing eligibility to establish who is legally entitled to the funds. PRM will provide administrative follow-up during the entire process.
You may only need to provide requested information and complete any required signatures or verification. There are no upfront services fees. If your claim is successfully paid, PRM receives the agreed-upon percentage for our services. The percentage and all terms are clearly disclosed in writing before any work begins.
